']]}Sometimes I think we Indians take ourselves too seriously. If you observe people on the street you will most often see grim and sombre faces. In fact, smiling without any obvious reason is looked upon as a sign of senility. I strongly believe that we must start looking at the lighter side of things more often.
Leading the way is Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh. I saw a recent press conference of his where he was asked what he expected would happen in Mumbai in the forthcoming monsoons. Pat came the reply "I expect that it won't rain as much as last time."
"The Week" reports that when CM Deshmukh was asked why didn't want Municipal Commissioner Johny Joseph to be transferred he said "He(Johny) knows all the potholes in the city very well. It will take asnother six months for a new guy to get acquainted."
Kudos CM Deshmukh!!!!
