(for those not up to speed on things...some dudes fired some gun shots outside Mahesh Bhatt's office. Some other dude called Ravi Pujari, who supposedly is some don, claims his gang fired the shots. His detailed profile is currently on rediff here)
Now, i personally appreciate people who take on career options that are off the beaten path. A "don" i think would qualify as such. Can you imagine how interesting it would be to have a few beers with a "bhai". (question. would i actually be required to call a bhai a bhai, because i would not be too comfortable with that)
Also, what i like about this pujari fellow (what a name, pujari. wonder if his forefathers were pujaris. they would be so proud) is that he is like a social reformer kind of guy.
He claims to have attempted to kill other dons and their dogs cause they are anti-india. Wow, wish we had more cops and politicians who were so patriotic. According to our man, even Bhatt is a man of Dawood and consequently anti-india.
I wonder if this desh-premi gentalman has read the Constitution of Mother India. I think i will read it out to him when we meet. I think it says or implies somewhere in there that murder is not cool. But then again, if Smith and Wesson give you the go ahead, balls to the constitution.
Another thing i like about this fella is that he is a complete publicity maverick. Clearly he is not worried about Mumbai Police knocking on his door anytime soon.
Oh boy. What a guy. Truly would be one interesting chap to meet.
