A black day for democracy

{[['']]}
Some of you might think that this post will be about the quota/ reservation issue. You probably think that I will call the government's move to bring in a bill to increase reservation in institutions of higher education a "black day for democracy".
However the BJP seems to think there is a larger threat to democracy looming upon us. In fact when the incident in question occured, the deputy leader of BJP in the Lok Sabha, Mr. V.K. Malhotra called it "a black day for democracy".
Well you see what happened was that some committee of the Lok Sabha called the privileges committee submitted a report to the parliament asking the house to "condemn" Mr. Subhash C. Kashyap for saying mean things about the speaker of the house.
Who is Subhash C. Kashyap? A MLA? No. A MP? No. A senior BJP politician? No. A BJP party worker? No.
It seems that Mr. Kashyap is someone who is "believed" to be close to the BJP and the RSS.
Truly Mr. Malhotra, on a day when the students hunger strike entered it's 10th day, this event qualifies as the gravest attack on the Indian democracy!
