']]}As the headline says, the BJP will make you richer by a fat lakh if you shoot, stab, bomb, poison, kill a terrorist. Of course the money will be paid to you regardless of your religion, caste or creed!!
I really dont know what part of this story is most ridiculous. I mean, if anyone, absolutely anyone made this "offer", it would be ridiculous, but when it comes from one of the largest political parties in the country today, a party was the ran the country for 5 years just a short while ago, its not only ridiculous, its also scary.
Who identifies with these morons? What happened to not taking the law into your own hands? What happened to democracy and the limitations of democracy? What happened to incriminating yourself for inciting crime, hatred, murder? The last time i checked, top BJP and RSS leaders were still charged with this from the Ayodhya days. What happened to having common sense? What happened to using common sense regardless of whether the law allows you to issue fatwas? What happened to having some sense of law and order?
By no means am i defending terrorists in Kashmir or anywhere in India whatsoever. But we have a judiciary and police system that has specifically been designed, built and operated to tackle the problem. If the BJP finds them inefficient in dealing with the problem, they should have done something about it when they were in power.
The last thing we need in Kashmir are civilians running about with AK-47s shooting anyone they think is a terrorist. The last thing we need is more civilians buying more guns to make a living out of stupid shit like this. Of the all the dumb things politicians in India have done and said, i have to say this is up there.
